Top nations like Brazil, Belgium and Portugal have all parted ways with their head coaches, with Portugal already appointing former Belgium boss Roberto Martinez, while the other two nations are still searching.
Robert Lewandowski's Poland are also in search of a new head coach, after Czeslaw Michniewicz's contract was not renewed after the Round of 16 elimination at the World Cup.
Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard is among the candidates considered, according to Mirror.

Was Gerrard offered Poland job?
Gerrard has been evaluating his next move since being sacked by Aston Villa in October. He is now in line for the Poland national team job, as revealed by Polish media outlet Meczyki.
His first managerial adventure at Glasgow Rangers was successful, as he led the Ibrox side to their first Scottish title since 2011, remaining unbeaten in the process.
However, Gerrard left Aston Villa in relegation zone when he was sacked.
As noted by the Sun, the former England international could be offered a bumper contract which would be paid by the revenue generated from Gerrard's sponsorship. He would also link up with two former players, Matty Cash and Jan Bednarek.

Gerrard's successor at Aston Villa, Unai Emery has turned the club's season around with three wins from four Premier League games, but the Villans have been eliminated from the two domestic cup competitions.
