Graet's initial comment against Zidane

"Zidane to Brazil? I don't care, let him go wherever he wants. Did Zidane try to contact me? Of course not, I wouldn't have even picked up the phone.

"These awkward comments have created a misunderstanding.
"I would like to personally apologize for these comments, which in no way reflect my thoughts, nor my consideration for the player he was and the coach he has become.''

Zidane on Messi, Ronaldo debate

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Zinedine Zidane is one of football's all-time greats, but he knows a player who is better than him.

The former French legend once weighed in on the 'greatest of all time' debate, and his comments have resurfaced once again.

The former French international was previously asked to pick between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, and he explained why he thought the Portuguese star was better than the Argentinian.

Frenchman knows the new Al-Nassr signing quite well, having coached him at Real Madrid. Zidane spent four years at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium and got to work with Ronaldo during that period. The veteran striker played 114 matches and scored 112 goals during his time under Zidane.
