Everton are having a difficult time under former Chelsea player turned manager, Frank Lampard.
The club currently sits in the relegation zone of the Premier League table and is also out of two domestic cup competitions.
Nigerian attacker, Alex Iwobi has been at the centre of the few positives the club has enjoyed this season, having rediscovered himself under the former Derby manager despite joining the club in 2019.
The Liverpool-based club are now set to be without the former Arsenal man for the rest of the month, after he was injured against Manchester United on Friday. Everton were handed a 3-1 beating by the Red Devils.

Scans revealed the extent of the damage to Iwobi's ankle, with the injury fortunately not as bad as first feared.
Everton issues statement on Iwobi
The Merseyside club issued a statement on their official website, as fans were worried his injury could be long-term.
However, their fears have been eased somewhat:
''Alex Iwobi is expected to be out for around three weeks with the ankle ligament injury sustained against Manchester United on Friday… Scan results on Saturday confirmed a lateral ligament injury that will be managed conservatively…'' the statement reads.
Iwobi will miss the games against Southampton and West Ham, and could be set for a return when league leaders Arsenal visit Goodison Park on February 4, as noted by Punch.

FootballMessages poured in on social media for the Nigerian after he was stretchered off. Shortly before the club released its statement, he posted an update and a message of appreciation to the fans.
He hinted the injury was not as serious as first feared with the caption: "Appreciate The Love, Back Soon."
Iwobi loving life at Everton
Iwobi is enjoying his football after moments he described as 'mad' for personal reasons, and revealed he was helped by fan support.
The 26-year-old left boyhood club Arsenal in 2019 to make a switch to Everton, but has endured difficult starts to life under different managers.
His recent injury will be a big blow to Lampard, who is under pressure for a poor run of results as the club continues another relegation battle.
