Football fans at the Mrsool Park, the home ground of Al-Nassr FC of Saudi Arabia, were thrilled to the sounds of Nigerian singer Rema.
Rema’s hit track ‘Calm Down’ reverberated throughout the entire arena as it blasted from the speakers just before their home game against Al-Ta’ee in the Saudi Pro League.
It was their first game since the club confirmed the signing of five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, whose contract was terminated by Manchester United.
After weeks of speculation on where he will play next, it Ronaldo has finally settled for the Middle East.

Prior to Al Nassr, Ronaldo had been linked with several European clubs including Chelsea, Bayern Munich and more controversially, Atletico Madrid.
The 37-year-old is already in town, but he could not feature in Friday’s game amid reports that he is yet to be registered for the league.
Al-Nassr defeated Al-Ta’ee 2-0 courtesy of a brace by impressive striker Talisca.
Fans were spotted grooving to Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ just before the start of the encounter as some of them stood up to dance.
Sharing the footage on his official Instagram handle, Rema wrote:
“I hope y’all can see what I’m doing for the culture. That’s all I have to say for now.”
