Dalot has now opened up on his conversation with De Gea for his error in Coady's goal. Speaking to beIN Sports after the game, as quoted by Manchester Evening News, he said the shot stopper did not expect the ball to go through.

''I spoke to David at half-time and he was not expecting the ball to go through his legs, even I was not expecting the ball to go through his legs, so I will take responsibility, I could have reacted a little bit quicker,'' he said.
