Romelu Lukaku was the laughing stock of Napoli substitutes after poorly controlling the ball during Inter Milan’s clash against Napoli on Wednesday, January 4.
The Chelsea loanee is infamous for having a bad first touch and this was evident during the Serie A encounter against the league leaders.
Having missed most if Inter’s games due to a stubborn injury, Lukaku got the chance to help his side as he was picked to start the fierce clash against Napoli.
But the former Manchester United man exhibited one of the biggest weaknesses in his game as he completely got it wrong with a casual pass from Matteo Darmian.

As reported on Daily Star, instead of bringing the pass under control, Lukaku instead poked it with his left leg, and the ball helplessly went out of play.
How the game went
As far as the game went, Edin Dzeko scored the only goal of the game in the second half as Napoli suffered what was only their first defeat of the season.
Interestingly, Dzeko’s strike was Inter’s first and only shot on target on the night.
Despite defeat, they sit five points at the top of the table, with AC Milan in second place.
