Bayern Munich are believed to be preparing a big-money offer for Roberto Firmino, as they aim to sign the Brazilian forward from Liverpool this January.
The Bundesliga champions recently completed the signing of former Manchester United defender Daley Blind and have now turned their attention to the Reds' frontman.
According to Sportskeeda, the Bavarians have reportedly identified Firmino as a potential replacement for Robert Lewandowski, whom the club let join Barcelona last summer.
It is unclear if Liverpool will be tempted to part ways with the 31-year-old forward, who has scored nine goals and provided four assists in 21 appearances this season.

If the move materialises however, Firmino will reunite former striker partner Sadio Mane at the Allianz Arena, with the Senegalese joining the Bundesliga champions last summer.
The duo were a formidable paring at Anfield some seasons earlier.
Barcelona join race for Firmino
Meanwhile, Barcelona have joined the queue of top clubs hoping to sign Firmino, as the Brazilian forward enters the final few months of his contract with Liverpool, Football Espana reports.
The Brazilian could move on from Anfield this summer and is currently free to negotiate with another club, with just six months left on his contract in Merseyside.
La Blaugrana are set to offer Firmino a short-term deal in the meantime, but no financial commitments have been made by the Catalan club just yet.

Reports now suggest the Italian club is on high alert and could launch a move for Firmino in the coming months.
