FootballIheanacho Urged by Danny Murphy To Leave Leicester for Move to Everton
- Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho could be making a move to Everton from Leicester City
- That is if the former Manchester City star listens to the advice from ex-Liverpool man Danny Murphy
- Murphy is of the opinion that Iheanacho should move to Everton where he can get regular games
Former Premier League star Danny Murphy has urged Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho to leave Leicester City and make a move to rivals, Everton this year.
Things have not been rosy for the Nigerian star at the King Power Stadium as he has so far been struggling to get regular playing time under manager, Brendan Rodgers.
Rodgers in his usual selection prefers Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka ahead of the former Manchester City forward.
In fact, Iheanacho has only started one Premier League game this season for the Foxes with 12 other appearances coming as a substitute.

As things stand, it does not look that the status quo will change in the second half of the Premier League season.
According to the report on Soccernet, Murphy believes Iheanacho should go and revive his career at Everton.
Statement made by Murphy
“I like Iheanacho. Iheanacho gets goals. I know he’s a bit unorthodox in the way he plays but he gets goals.
“He’d do for Everton, Iheanacho. You leave him up there, get the ball to him and he’ll get you goals.”
Iheanacho has been with Leicester since he was sold by the Citizens in 2017.
Iheanacho donates to needy
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho took time out to personally extend his kind heart to the needy during Christmas.

He was spotted donating to a local community as he personally moved around to distribute gifts to the homeless during the holiday season.
The former Manchester City striker has not been at the top of his form for the foxes compared to his previous seasons.
