Former Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin earned plaudits online after protecting match officials from his own players at full time during a fierce Turkish Super Lig. encounter.
The former Turkey international is the current boss of Antalyaspor, who felt hard-done by a late decision on Tuesday, January 3.
Antalyaspor were denied a late equalizer in a fierce encounter that saw them blow a lead to Fenerbahce.

Towards the end of the game, former Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fernando found the late in what looked like a last minute equalizer but the goal was ruled out for offside after intervention from VAR.
The decision typically left the home players seething and at full time, their manager Sahin had to rush to the pitch to quell the situation.
In sensational scenes, players tried to get a word to the match officials, but their own manager proved to be the obstacle.
As reported on The Mirror, Antalyaspor later released a statement demanding audio recordings from the league.
