Mendes was the brain behind Ronaldo’s astronomical transfer from Manchester United to Real Madrid back in 2009.
The Portuguese football agent also oversaw the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's move to Juventus, and his stunning return to Old Trafford in the summer of 2021.
Why Ronaldo split with Mendes

Per the Portuguese media outlet, the agent was not happy with his client's decision to go ahead with his bombshell interview with Piers Morgan.
The report further states that Mendes knew Ronaldo's options of playing for another top club in Europe would be limited after the controversial interview.
The veteran forward then resorted to his personal manager, Ricky Regufe, who negotiated his move to Al-Nassr.
