Peter Mancer is no more.
The popular Premier Soccer League administrator passed away on January 2, 2023. The cause of death of the league's marketing and broadcasting specialist advisor was not revealed.
PSL chairman, Irvin Khoza expressed condolences to the Mancer family and said of 'Squire':
"Your loss is indeed our loss. Together with you, we will miss the gentle giant - Mancer the dancer. When I think about Squire, I think of pedigree; he was one of a kind. Dependable, tenacious, abundance of energy. His word was bankable.”

Mancer earned the nickname 'Squire' because of his love of calling male colleagues and other acquaintances by that moniker during his lifetime.
He was also reputably an enthusiastic dancer, earning the other nickname 'The Dancer' in some gossip columns in local publications.
The league said in a statement that his family would reveal funeral arrangements at a later date.
