A bizarre petition, calling on Manchester City ace Julian Alvarez to dump his girlfriend Emilia Ferrero, has attracted more than 20,000 signatures.
Alvarez has enjoyed a stunning rise to prominence in recent months, thanks to his stunning summer move to Man City.
The youngster was also the talk of the town during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where he played a central role in Argentina's triumph.
The former River Plate star scored four goals for La Albiceleste during the global football showpiece, as the South Americans went on to win the tournament.

The 22-year-old is once again in the spotlight - but this time it has nothing to do with his on-pitch success.
According to Mirror UK, an online petition has been launched calling on the star forward to split up with his long-term girlfriend Ferrero.
The publication reports that one angry fan started the petition, after the YouTube influencer reportedly refused to allow a group of admirers to pose for a photograph with her beau during Argentina’s manic celebrations.
Interestingly, the petition seems to have gathered some steam, with more than 20,000 signatures already collected.
Sportbible contends that Alvarez is unlikely to end his four-year relationship with Ferrero, despite the petition.
In fact, the union seems to be going from strength to strength, with the couple sharing loved-up photos during the festivities.

Sports Brief earlier reported on Alvarez being picked by Guardiola as the Manchester City player with the best chance of winning the World Cup.
The prediction was largely influenced by the Spanish boss's love for his former star Lionel Messi, whom Guardiola worked with at Barcelona for four years in his first senior managerial position.
Alvarez and Messi formed a devastating attacking partnership, in particular tearing Croatia apart in the semi-final, where the youngster scored twice.
