Real Madrid have not fully given up their pursuit to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain, following the Frenchman’s superb showing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Mbappe, who turned down an opportunity to join Real Madrid previously, is seemingly unhappy at PSG and is itching for a move away from the French champions, despite only penning a lucrative three-year deal last summer.
According to Madrid Universal, Real Madrid are open to restarting the negotiations with PSG for the Frenchman - if the player personally hands his club a transfer request.
The La Liga champions have no intention to replicate the month-long transfer saga from the summer, when the attacker changed his mind at the last minute to stay with PSG.

Mbappe’s current deal with the Parisians is set to expire in 2025 and the French champions are expected to place a huge transfer fee on the French forward, estimated to be over a €100million.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will need to fork out at least £200million if they are to stand any chance of signing Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain, We All Follow United reports.
The France international is being eyed by the Red Devils as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the club midway through the season.
