Chelsea, Spurs drop points

Elsewhere, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur suffered a massive blow in their top four bid, after they dropped points in their respective outings.

The Blues currently sit eighth with 25 points after they were forced to a 1-1 draw at Nottingham, while Spurs are placed fifth with 30 points following their 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa.

Liverpool are sixth with 28 points but could climb to fifth, depending on the outcome of their clash against Brentford on Monday night.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest, Wolves and Southampton are locked in the relegation zone, with the Saints at the bottom with 12 points.

Chelsea fans want Potter out

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Graham Potter has come under fire from a section of Chelsea fans, who want him sacked.

The Blues boss found himself on the receiving end after his side drew against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Chelsea were hoping to secure a favourable result to boost their chances of making the top four, but their plans fell flat.

Legend declares Gunners the favourites

Former England international and Arsenal legend, Paul Merson believes the Gunners have only one challenger for the Premier League title this season.

Merson claimed Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham have no chance to win the title this season.

He told Sky Sports that only defending champions Manchester City could get in the way of Arsenal taking the league's top honours.
