FootballFootball Fans Troll Paris Saint Germain After Ligue 1 Defeat
- Paris Saint-Germain suffered their first defeat of the Ligue 1 season at the hands of RC Lens
- Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr were both unavailable for PSG's crunch encounter in Ligue 1
- Football fans believe Kylian Mbappe wasn't carrying PSG and have started trolling the star
Are Paris Saint-Germain missing Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr?
That’s what many fans believe, after the French side suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of second-placed RC Lens.
As noted by the BBC, Przemyslaw Frankowski, Lois Openda and Alexis Claude-Maurice gave Lens a 3-1 victory. Hugo Ekitike grabbed PSG’s only goal of the game.
With Neymar missing out through suspension and Messi still on holiday after the FIFA World Cup, the Parisians looked far from the dominant side they have been this season. Even talismanic striker Mbappe could not find the back of the net.

FootballLigue 1: Lens stuns PSG
Paris Saint-Germain lost for the first time in any competition since March 20 last year, when they were defeated 3-1 at RC Lens on Sunday.
Lois Openda scored one and set up another as Lens, who have only lost once in Ligue 1 this season, closed the gap on PSG at the top to four points after 17 rounds.
The Parisians' last loss was more than nine months ago when they fell 3-0 at Monaco in the French league, but that still left them 12 points clear atop the standings.
