FootballEx EPL Star Predicts Where Arsenal Will Finish This Season After Opening 7 Point Lead
- Former Watford skipper Troy Deeney has sensationally claimed that Arsenal could finish third
- This is despite the Gunners enjoying a fine run of results that has seen them collect 43 points
- Arsenal's most recent outing saw them open a seven-point lead at the top of the standings
Former Premier League star Troy Deeney has predicted that Arsenal are set to miss out on the Premier League title.
This is despite the Gunners being touted as clear favourites to win the league this season after a sensational run of form.
Metro UK reports that the north Londoners have been in sensational form under Mikel Arteta this term, with the side losing just once after 16 outings.
Arsenal's defeat came at the hands of Man United back in October 2022 and have not lost a single league match since then.

Their latest outing ended in a 4-2 thrilling win over Brighton on Saturday, December 31, with the vital win stretching their lead at the top to seven points.
Deeney makes Arsenal prediction
Despite Arsenal's impressive run of form, Deeney does not see Arteta's charges winning the Premier League this season.
According to the former Watford skipper, the Gunners are unlikely to keep up with the current momentum and could finish as low as third.
"There is a growing expectation that Arsenal really can do it the longer they are top, and if they come out of the next month unscathed, I will start believing," Deeney wrote for The Sun.
"But I just wonder that if City catch them, and I believe they can, will Arsenal recover from it? I actually feel they will finish as low as third come the end of the season," he added.
