Endrick turned down advances from Barcelona, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain to sign for Madrid and has now revealed why.
As noted by 90min, the youngster admitted that he wanted to join Los Blancos because of two of his favourite players, Cristiano Ronaldo and Vinicius Junior.
"Real Madrid are a very big team, and Vini has sent me messages to give me more hope," he explained.
He added that Vini Jr gave him advice over the years and was a good friend to him.
Endrick also added that another reason he joined the La Liga champions was because of his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.
"Cristiano too, my idol, played for Real Madrid. That's why I chose Real Madrid and I think it's the right choice, he added.
Ronaldo became a club legend at Madrid while Vini Jr is well on his way to becoming a big superstar in Spain.
