Following his tell all interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo was released by Manchester United, and is now focused on searching for a new club after the end of the World Cup.
His options are quite limited, as a few European clubs have expressed interest in the 37-year old’s services, leaving Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia as his most-likely destination.

According to the Al-Nassr chief, most of the rumours being peddled online are “mostly lies”, per The Sun.
Among the rumors is the narrative that Ronaldo would retire at the club after signing the contract.
It remains unclear which part of the reports are not entirely accurate, although Al Nassr’s sporting director Marcelo Salazar has refused to deny the prospect of signing the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
He recently told Flashscore that he could not confirm nor deny whether Ronaldo would be joining the club.
As you can see, this is a negotiation of enormous magnitude, not only for the club, but for the country and for world football, and which has to be conducted by higher authorities.
