FootballBruno Fernandes: Man United Star Dazzles With Silky Skill vs Nottingham
- Bruno Fernandes pulled off one of his many tricks during a Premier League clash against Nottingham
- Captaining the side on the night, Fernandes put in a solid performance and was unlucky not to get an assist
- The Portuguese star has shown the glimpses of quality he had when he first signed for Manchester United
Bruno Fernandes is continuing to show steady signs of improvement under Erik ten Hag after a huge dip in form last season.
Fernandes starred for Manchester United when he was brought in January 2022 but waned off last season as the club went through turbulent times.
He seems to be picking up the pieces with his creativity coming in handy for the Red Devils in recent games.
Against Nottingham Forrest on December 27th at Old Trafford, he captained the side once again in their first Premier League game since the acrimonious exit of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Fernandes Rabona pass
Fernades played a key part in the second goal where he wonderfully lobbed the ball over to Rashford who squared it to Martial to finish it off.
However, towards the end of the game, he impressed fans with a dazzling rabona pass to Fred.

Manchester United will now turn their attention to Wolves on Saturday.
Lingard receives warm reception
Sports Brief has also reported that Jesse Lingard was treated to a rapturous reception by Manchester United fans on his first return to Old Trafford.
Lingard was part of the Nottingham Forrest team that played against Manchester United on December 27th. It was his first-ever appearance against his boyhood club. Head Coach Steve Cooper threw him in right from the start, but he had to leave the pitch prematurely in the 53rd minute with an injury. Lewis O'Brien took his place.
The England international could not make an impact against his former side as goals from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial helped the Red Devils to a 2-0 lead before halftime. Fred added a late goal to ensure maximum points.
