According to the publication, the 52-year-old Infantino stepped up to take a corner kick after ungainly warming up for the occasion. He proceeded to shank the ball behind the goalposts as the bemused players and spectators looked on.

The FIFA president is considering the historic idea after the success of the tournament in Qatar. Qatar 2022 reportedly generated record revenue of £6.2 billion, £840 million more than Russia 2018 did.
