A legendary former player at Chelsea FC, Craig Burley has told the Premier League club to make efforts to sign Nigerian international Victor Osimhen.
Burley told the Blues to take advantage, if the 23-year-old Napoli striker was to leave the Italian Serie A outfit anytime soon.
Quite a number of clubs are interested in the former Lille of France striker, and Burley emphasised that the combination of Osimhen and Christopher Nkunku in the attack would help the club.
Nkunku is on the radar of the Stamford Bridge club, as he is expected to move during the summer after his Bundesliga club RB Leipzig and Chelsea agreed on the deal.

Burley believes the Osimhen-Nkunku combination would be too difficult for opposition teams to handle, speaking to ESPN via Tribuna:
“I think him [Nkunku] and Osimhen would scare the living daylights out of people. Can you imagine? I don’t know if he would leave Napoli, but you’re not getting him until the summer at the earliest.”
Osimhen has scored nine goals and recorded three assists in 14 appearances across all competitions for the Partenopei this season.

Meanwhile, Osimhen does not want to leave Italian Serie A outfit Napoli at this stage, he has appeared to suggest.

Meanwhile, Osimhen has explained why he still wears a mask, despite having recovered from a cheekbone injury.
The Napoli striker says he still wears the face protector to safeguard himself, as it makes him feel more comfortable and assured.
Osimhen had a clash of heads with Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar back in November 2022, and it was confirmed he had fractured his eye socket and cheekbone.
