Morocco's King Mohammed VI has rewarded the national football team with the country's highest order, following their historic World Cup performance.
The North Africans defied all odds to become the first African country to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup, beating favourites Belgium, Spain and Portugal en-route to making history.
Having finished fourth at the tournament in Qatar, the team arrived to a heroic welcome in Casablanca, before attending a special ceremony held at the King's Throne Hall of the Royal Palace in Rabat.
King Mohammed VI, in the company of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, presented the entire team with the Order of the Throne.

President of Morocco's Football Federation, Fouzi Lekjaa and Head Coach, Walid Regragui were the first to receive their honours before the 26 players - who arrived with their mothers - were decorated by the King.
The Atlas Lions' historic run at the World Cup saw them finish top of their group, before victories over Spain and Portugal saw them clash with former champions France in the semi-finals.
Morocco lost to Les Bleus 2-0, before finishing fourth in the tournament after defeat to Croatia in the final play-off game.
