Ex-Spain and Real Madrid midfielder Guti Haz has urged his former employers to move swiftly for the services of Kylian Mbappe following his remarkable performance at the 2022 World Cup.
Mbappe had a near-perfect World Cup campaign, notching eight goals, including a stunning hattrick in the final.
Despite his goal-scoring heroics, the Paris Saint-Germain forward agonizingly missed out on the ultimate prize as Lionel Messi's Argentina pipped France to the World Cup via penalty shootouts.
He however managed to scoop the Golden Boot, the top scorer award, as a consolation for his outstanding displays, per ESPN.

On the back of Mbappe's awe-inspiring performances at the Mundial, he has resurrected Madrid's interest in him, which literally died after inking a lucrative contract extension with PSG.
According to Guti, who made 542 appearances for Real Madrid, Mbappe should be the topmost priority for the club.
“Real Madrid have to go for Kylian Mbappé. The best players have to play in Real Madrid,” the 46-year-old retired footballer said as quoted by MadridXtra.
