FIFA has officially unveiled a list of 10 goals from which the 2022 World Cup Goal of the tournament will be picked from.
The Qatar World Cup did not disappoint, with Lionel Messi's Argentina having the final say after an epic final against France.
However, Messi's rasping effort against Mexico has been overlooked in the FIFA list, with Richarlison's acrobatic effort for Brazil against Serbia the front-runner to bag the award.

FootballThe Tottenham Hotspur striker has been nominated twice, having also been on the end of a wonderful team goal against Switzerland.
Cameroon's Vincent Aboubakar's audacious chip against Serbia is also a strong contender for the FIFA award.
Golden Boot winner Kylian Mbappe will also have a say on the award, after his round of 16 goal against Poland was also nominated. His PSG teammate Neymar's goal against Croatia has also been shortlisted.
There were a few direct free kicks goals scored in Qatar, and one of them was Mexico's Luis Chavez's effort from way out against Saudi Arabia.

The Argentina star netted a brace as the South Americans defeated France on penalties, to win their third Mundial star.
Messi beat Paris Saint-Germain teammate Kylian Mbappe to the top award, while the Les Bleus forward won the golden boot after netting a hat-trick in the final.
