Rooney advises Mbappe to leave PSG
Kylian Mbappe turned down Real Madrid in the summer to sign a new contract until 2025 with PSG as noted by ESPN.
The club submitted a bid in excess of €200m a year before to tempt PSG to sell him but was turned down as reported by Goal.
Wayne Rooney has now advised the former Monaco star to reopen the door of opportunities to Madrid or his former club Manchester United while speaking to Sports 18 as quoted by Man Utd News.
“I think he needs to leave that club and go to the PL, PSG is a massive club, but I think he’s done everything he can in the Ligue 1, maybe Manchester United or Real Madrid. If he needs to reach the level of Messi and Ronaldo, I think he needs to join Manchester United or Real Madrid.” he said.
