The LA Lakers superstar believes that Mbappe is as good as Lionel Messi and even considers him one of the greatest to ever play the sport, The Mirror reported.
Mbappe and James are friends and have met often due to being the faces of Nike in football and basketball.

The NBA superstar made the claims about Mbappe while discussing the upcoming World Cup final. While he couldn’t pick a winner of the game, he did admit that it would be a great one.
"It’s going to be a great one, and look forward to seeing, you know, two of the greatest who have ever played that sport go at it. It’ll be fun," he said.
Mbappe’s impressive career
Despite being only 23, Mbappe has enjoyed an impressive career thus far. The PSG star is already a World Cup winner and is a five-time French champion. He’s also a UEFA Nations League winner and a one-time French player of the year winner.
