  • Morocco's FA has lodged an official protest against Mexican referee Cesar Ramos
  • The Atlas Lions approached world football governing body FIFA about the official
  • At the heart of the complaint is alleged contact between players in the danger area

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FMRF) has lodged a massive protest with FIFA, over decisions made by referee Cesar Ramos during their World Cup semi-final clash with France.

France defeated the Atlas Lions 2-0 to reach the final of the global showpiece, but the match referee has been called out.

The FMRF claims the match referee failed to award a penalty to the Atlas Lions, after Theo Hernandez allegedly made contact with Sofiane Boufal in the danger area.
