Who are others to play

El-Hadji Diouf, Khalilou Fadiga, and Demba Ba are all included for the “African Lions,” along with three more legends who played for Chelsea: Geremi Njitap (Cameroon), Michael Essien (Ghana), and Didier Drogba (Cote d’Ivoire).

Sunday Oliseh's record

Oliseh in his active playing career played as a defensive midfielder. Physical yet technically gifted, he played for top European clubs including Ajax, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus.

In the Super Eagles, Oliseh played 52 games for Nigeria scoring two goals and also won the African Cup of Nations in 1994.

Oliseh predicted Morocco for semifinal

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how video of four years ago reappeared on social media where former Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh was spotted predicting that Morocco would reach the semi-final of the World Cup.

The Moroccan national teams have been making the headlines since they defeated Portugal in the quarter-final of the FIFA 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Interestingly, the African giants also sent former champions, Spain, out of the World Cup via penalties in the round of 16 in Qatar.

Their win over Portugal made Cristiano Ronaldo cry as the 2022 edition of the World Cup could be his last for his country.

The former Manchester United forward has never won the World Cup and it is the only title missing in his cabinet.

According to the video seen on Instagram, Oliseh was seen explaining that Morocco have a good football structure like Japan.
