France have been struck with yet another fitness blow ahead of their World Cup final match with Argentina on Sunday, December 18.
The defending world champions have found themselves on the wrong side of fitness with a key component of their squad ruled out to injuries before the start of the tournament in Qatar.
When it seemed they had finally overcome the unfortunate fitness concerns, Les Bleus were struck with another fitness issue in the semifinal stage.
Ahead of their semifinal showdown with giant killers Morocco, France had two of their starters Dayot Upamecano and Adrien Rabiot ruled out due to illness, per Football Espana.

The duo missed France's two-nil win over the Atlas Lions and are currently fighting to be fit for Sunday's final against Argentina at the Lusail Iconic Stadium.
Meanwhile, France coach Didier Deschamps has now confirmed that a third member of his squad has been hit with the illness, known as the 'Camel' virus in the shape of winger Kingsley Coman.
“Coman also had a fever this morning," Deschamps said as quoted by Sport Bible.
“In Doha, the temperatures have dropped a bit and you still have air conditioning on all the time. We have had a few cases of flu-like symptoms.
“We are trying to be careful so that it does not spread and the players have put in a great effort on the pitch and obviously their immune systems suffer.”
