France reached back-to-back World Cup finals after seeing off competition from a resilient Morocco side, who became the first African nation to reach the last four of the Mundial.
Mbappe did not get his name on the scoresheet but played a major role in France's two goals against Morocco.
His quick change of direction, mesmeric dribbling skill and searing pace have been a major headache for opponents but not Sofyan Amrabat, who has been one of the outstanding midfielders in the competition.

In what looked like a typical Mbappe drive towards the goal on the left flank, Amrabat sprinted back before unleashing a brutal tackle to recover the ball from the PSG star, per Football Italia.
The tackle won the hearts of many but the Frenchman had other ideas in mind. The 23-year-old forward equally paid Amrabat back with a filthy nutmeg.
In a video posted on Twitter, seen by Sports Brief, Mbappe nutmegged an onrushing Sofyan in the middle of the park as the game drew to a close, getting his revenge on the Morocco midfield kingpin.
