Olivier Giroud is upbeat ahead of Sunday's World Cup final between defending champions France and tournament favourites Argentina.
The former Arsenal and Chelsea striker, who has bagged four goals so far in the Mundial, is bent on ruining Lionel Messi’s dream of a World Cup fairytale.
Messi disclosed he would bring the curtains to his World Cup campaign down in the blockbuster final against France, however, Giroud revealed he is not in the mood to grant the Argentine maestro his last wish.
“Messi is an incredible player, but we are not going to let him enjoy the best night he can have. We want to win this game. We want to win another World Cup," Giroud said as quoted by Mirror.

He continued: “We will try everything to stop him. But there is not only Messi in that team. They have got great players who work for the team also. I think that is why they are so strong.”
