From the odds alone, it was simply too good to be true, and the poor chap’s friend took to Twitter to share the hilarious but painful gaffe.
"My mate thought he had Argentina to win the World Cup the whole tournament, I thought the odds were too good to be true, turns out he betted on the Rugby World Cup." A twitter user with the handle @LukeCarey1881 posted.
