Lisandro Martinez on Friday night, 9 December, broke down in tears while answering questions from reporters following Argentina's win over Netherlands in the quarter-final.
Martinez has been an important member of the Argentina squad so far at the 2022 World Cup, and the Manchester United defender will be aiming to win the title.
Against the Netherlands, the tie ended 2-2 after 120 minutes before Martinez and his teammates went on to win 4-3 on penalties.
The South Americans were also impressive during their semi-final clash against Croatia beating them 3-0 to set up a final battle against France.

A video has now appeared on Twitter where Martinez was crying that his late parents won't be able to see him play at the 2022 World Cup final.

"I have a million things in my head right now. I'm grateful for life, grateful for my grandparents who are no longer here.''
The 24-year-old was then hugged by journalist Diego Korol who consoled him during the interview.
What happened against Holland
Lionel Scaloni's side stormed into a two-goal lead before a late brace from Wout Weghorst sent the game into extra-time.
It eventually went into penalties and Argentina won.
