Super Eagles striker Taiwo Awoniyi has shared adorable photos of himself meeting famous Nigerian singer Olamide Baddo in the United Kingdom as he expressed happiness.

Awoniyi who currently plays for Premier League side Nottingham Forest is on holiday because of the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in which his country failed to qualify.

The Super Eagles lost the play-offs against Ghana, and interestingly, the Black Stars were unable to make it out of the group stages in Qatar.

Where did they meet?

Olamide is in Manchester to attend Asake's concert and Awoniyi and his elder brother, Victor, were both spotted with the music star.

The former Liverpool player even presented his club's jersey to Olamide.

Awoniyi and his teammates at Nottingham Forest have not been impressive so far this season and they must do their possible best when they league resumes so as to avoid relegation.

Forest are currently occupying 18th position on the Premier League table.

Taiwo Awoniyi bags UK degree

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigerian international Taiwo Awoniyi completed his degree program at the Buckinghamshire New University, Wycombe, United Kingdom.

According to close sources, the Nottingham Forest striker bagged a degree in Business Management.

Nigerian journalist Ojora Babatunde took to Twitter to celebrate the former Liverpool player on Wednesday, September 7.

Awoniyi bagged the degree a few days after his fellow in the Super Eagles and Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi also got done with his studies.
