An emotional video of an Argentine female football fan has emerged where she was spotted hoping that Lionel Messi would win the 2022 FIFA World Cup going on in Qatar.
Argentina started their campaign at the World Cup with a defeat against Saudi Arabia in their first group game, but they went ahead to qualify for the knockout phase and have subsequently reached the final.
On their way to the final, Messi and his teammates defeated Croatia 3-0 in the semi-final with the Paris Saint-Germain star scoring the opener.
This will be Messi's second time reaching the World Cup final, with the first ending in a defeat. The Argentine has also claimed that Qatar 2022 will be his last for his country.

According to a video posted by Nigerian reporter, Adepoju Tobi, who is in Qatar for the World Cup, a lady was seen praying for Messi to win the title.

Messi and his teammates are now waiting for the winner of the second semi-final game between Morocco and France for Sunday's final.
France are the reigning champions, and they are looking forward to qualifying for another final.
