FootballWorld Cup 2022: Piers Morgan Places Messi 4th in His GOAT Rankings
- British broadcaster Piers Morgan controversially wades into the GOAT debate again
- Morgan who is a friend and ardent supporter of Ronaldo places Messi fourth behind CR7
- Messi will play his second World Cup final on Sunday and Pele who won three was not named.
Lionel Messi went one step further in the unending GOAT debate between him and rival Cristiano Ronaldo by reaching the final of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The final will be Messi's second after losing the 2014 World Cup to Germany thanks to Mario Gotze's 116th minute winner. He will hope to win this time around.
Cristiano Ronaldo has never gone past the quarter-final stage of the World Cup and suffered another elimination at that stage after losing 1-0 to Morocco days ago.
This however does not change the hardened mind of Piers Morgan who still puts his friend ahead of everyone else and even failed to recognize the man who won three World Cup titles.

Morgan adamant on Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo granted an interview to Piers Morgan about his time at Manchester United which eventually led to the termination of his contract.
The broadcaster who has always been vocal in support of the Portuguese became even more targeted with questions during this World Cup.
Though not directly asked he responded to Gary Lineker who tweeted if there is still a goat debate after Messi reached the World Cup final.
He then responded to a direct tag from another British presenter Jeff Sterling who asked him where the GOAT debate is.
The part where Morgan's opinion can be thrown into the bin is leaving out three times World Cup winner Pele, he didn't even mention him.
Morgan reacts to Portugal elimination
