Black Stars defender Mohammed Salisu has made a quick return to club duties following Ghana's World Cup exit.
The 22-year-old resumed training with Southampton as the Saints begin mid-season preparations ahead of the return of the English Premier League.
Salisu was one of Ghana's stars at the World Cup in Qatar despite the team's group stage elimination. The Southampton centre-back scored in Ghana's 3-2 victory against South Korea.
However, defeats to Portugal and Uruguay meant the four-time African champions could not progress beyond the group stage.

Salisu in a photo shared on social media, is seen buzzing with smiles as he looks forward to the return of the English topflight.
The former Real Valladolid player has been a key member of the Saint Mary's outfit this season, playing in 14 matches and has an assist to his credit. He also made one appearance in the Carabao Cup.
Southampton delighted with Salisu's performance
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Southampton have reacted to the performance of Ghana defender Mohammed Salisu, after he netted his first World Cup goal as the Black Stars defeated South Korea.
The Southampton centre-back opened the scoring for the West African nation, who secured a 3-2 victory after a thrilling contest at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan.
A brace from Mohammed Kudus - despite a double from South Korea's Cho Gue-sung - ensured the Black Stars climbed to second position in Group H.

Defender Mohammed Salisu and forward Antoine Semenyo scored their first goals for the Black Stars as Ghana beat Switzerland in their final friendly ahead of the World Cup.
Salisu's second half lofting header and Semenyo's powerful strike ensured the Black Stars leave for Qatar with their confidence boosted.
Switzerland started off well with Ruben Vargas coming close in the 6th minute after meeting a cross from Breel Embolo from the right.
