Petit: sign Kante and Pulisic

With the January transfer window a few months away, the Gunners will have the opportunity to reinforce their squad to further boost their title push.

Petit believes his former side should consider making a move for the duo of N'Golo Kante and Christian Pulisic.

"I’d love [N’Golo] Kante to go to Arsenal and I think he wants to stay in London, so they should take their chance," the Frenchman told OddsBetting.

On Pulisic, Petit said:

"You could see with [Christian] Pulisic, he was playing with revenge at the World Cup. I think he’s the exact kind of player that Arsenal need. Now that Gabriel Jesus is out, I think he’d be a great option," he added via Metro UK.

Arsenal are scheduled to play West Ham United on Boxing Day, once the Premier League resumes after the World Cup break.

Broja ruled out with injury

Elsewhere, Sports Brief reported on how Chelsea were dealt a big blow, after Armando Broja was ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury.

The forward suffered an unexpected injury during a mid-season friendly against Aston Villa on Sunday, December 11.

Broja reportedly screamed in pain after a collision with Ezri Konsa, and was then carried off the field of play on a stretcher.
