Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus wishes to leave Ajax Amsterdam in the January transfer window, it has emerged.
The 22-year-old had an outstanding World Cup despite Ghana's early exit.
The attacking midfielder became the first Ghana player to score two goals in a World Cup match after he netted a brace in the Black Stars' victory against South Korea in the group stages.
His outstanding performances have seen him attract interest from some of the big clubs in Europe, including Liverpool and Barcelona.

Per The Athletic, the Ghanaian phenomenon could be on his way out of Ajax in the January transfer window.
The report further suggests that Liverpool are the frontrunners for his signature and are willing to pay between €35-40m to pry him away from the Dutch outfit.

Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen to sign Kudus due to his ability to play multiple positions in midfield and attack.
The ex-Nordsjalland star's pace and eye for goal have become evident lately with the former Nordsjaelland attacker scoring 10 goals in 21 games for Ajax before the World Cup break.

Kudus resumes Ajax training
Sports Brief earlier reported that Black Stars midfielder Mohammed Kudus has returned to Amsterdam for mid-season training following Ghana's elimination from the World Cup.
The Ghana World Cup star rejoined his Ajax teammates at sports complex de Toekomst as preparations begin ahead of the return of the Dutch Eredivisie.
Kudus went through the necessary drills alongside Ajax's two other internationals Dusan Tadic and Jorge Sanchez.
