- His PSG teammate will be tasked with keeping him quiet in their respective nations' semi-final
- Mbappe said it would break his heart to destroy a friend, but that was what football was about
France will take on Morocco in the semi-final of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, a match few would have predicted.
However, Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe did foresee having to play against his friend and club teammate, Achraf Hakimi.
The French attacker and Moroccan right-back are good friends and joked about the prospect of facing each other at the tournament, Goal reported.
The duo were part of PSG's tour to Qatar earlier in the year and were visiting the Education City Stadium when Mbappe made the prediction.

He joked that 40 000 people would be gathered in the stadium to watch Les Bleus take on the Atlas Lions. The French star added that he would have to destroy his friend, and while it would break his heart to do so, it was part of football.
“It is what it is,” Mbappe joked.
Hakimi jokingly replied that he would have to kick him.
How accurate was the prediction?
Morocco and France will meet tournament, but much later than any saw coming. The game also won't be contested at Education City Stadium, but will be played at the Al-Bayt Stadium instead.
Hakimi, who plays on the right, will be tasked with keeping Mbappe quiet during the game.

Mbappe celebrates Kane's penalty miss
Mbappe could not hide his joy on the back of Harry Kane's penalty miss, during England's enthralling quarter-final tie with France.
Kane scored from the penalty spot to draw parity for the Three Lions, only for Olivier Giroud to retake the lead for the defending champions.
However, France had their hearts in their mouths for a moment when Kane was presented with another opportunity to score from 12 yards, after Theo Hernandez' challenge on Mason Mount.
