A supercomputer has predicted the winner of the 2022 edition of the World Cup in Qatar following the elimination of Brazil, England, and Portugal.
Four teams are now left in the tournament, with the competition now entering its penultimate stage to determine the winner.
Holders France, Argentina, Croatia, and dark horses Morocco are the only teams still in the tournament.
France saw off England to book a spot in the semis, with Argentina having to overcome the Netherlands to sail through.

Croatia, meanwhile, stunned Brazil on penalties to advance, with Morocco sinking Portugal to become the first African country to reach the semis.
Who will win the World Cup?
According to a supercomputer, Messi's Argentina are favourites to win the World Cup in Qatar.
ESPN citing FiveThirtyEight's SPI disclosed that La Albiceleste have been given a 37% chance of being crowned world champions.
France have been given a 35% chance of retaining the title, with Croatia rated third favourites with a 16% chance.
On the other hand, Morocco are the least favourite to conquer the world per FiveThirtyEight's SPI prediction with a 13% chance to lift the trophy.
The Atlas Lions are scheduled to come up against France in the semi-finals, with Argentina locking horns with Croatia in the other semi-final fixture.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported how former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has backed France to successfully defend their 2018 World Cup crown in Qatar.
According to Wenger, the reigning champions have what it takes to retain the crown.
"My number one favourite is France, not because I’m French by birth, but because this Equipe Tricolore has the best attack," Wenger told Wettabis, when asked to name the team with the best chance to win the tournament.
