Croatia and tournament favourites Brazil will battle it out in the first quarter-final match of the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup later this afternoon.
Brazil easily dispatched South Korea 4-1 in their round of 16 match, while Croatia beat Japan on penalties. Vatreni coach Zlatko Dalic has now commented on the Samba Boys' celebration.
Dalic said dancing makes the Brazilians happy and did not comment on whether he sees it as disrespectful to opponents, but does not want his team to do it.
Speaking during the press conference ahead of the encounter, as transcribed by GWFN, Dalic said Brazil had its own way of celebrating, while also showing off their unity and character.

“They have their own way of celebrating... That’s their right. But I wouldn’t like my team to celebrate like that, but when [Brazil] do it, it looks good - I wouldn’t comment on whether it’s disrespectful to the opponent or not.”
If Dalic does not want to see the dance today, he would have to ensure the Samba Boys fail to score a goal during their clash.
The Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup finalists came into this tournament hoping to better their previous record, an uphill task that includes defeating the in-form Selecao.
Sports Brief earlier reported that Croatia coach Dalic says Brazil are terrifying, calling the Samba Boys the best team at this year's World Cup.
Dalic acknowledges Brazil as the most powerful national team, noting their quality in every position, but wants his team to go into the match with faith and self-confidence.
Veteran midfielder Luka Modric will be key to whatever Croatia will be able to do against the Selecao, supported in midfield by the experienced duo of Mateo Kovacic and Marcelo Brozovic.
