Nigerian international Victor Osimhen was in action as Napoli edged past Antalyaspor on Wednesday evening.
It took the Italian side just 15 minutes into the encounter to take a two-goal lead right inside the famous Antalya Stadium.
Although Osimhen could not register his name on the score sheet, Giacomo Raspadori netted a brace for Luciano Spalletti’s men.
The first goal of the encounter came as early as the 8th minute when Raspadori put up a brilliant individual effort to his side ahead, firing the ball into the top corner.

About seven minutes later, the second goal of the encounter came courtesy of another brilliant strike.
In the second half of the game, Spalletti replaced almost half of the Naples, which includes the Super Eagles talisman, Osimhen.
In the 55th minute, Antalyaspor pulled one back courtesy of a fine strike, but Raspadori gave the visitors the lead again after only six minutes with an assist from Ndombele.
Hakan Ozmert doubled the Akrepler’s goal in the 86th minute, but it wasn’t enough to either win or draw the game against the Parthenopean, Soccernet reports.
Osimhen in search of new personal trainer
Meanwhile, Osimhen is reportedly searching for a new personal trainer as he hopes to improve his performance when club football returns.
The 23-year-old has been out of action due to the World Cup break, as the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the global showpiece.

Sports Brief earlier reported that Super Eagles forward Peter Olayinka is said to be on the radar of Turkish giants Fenerbahce ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.

He has been in fine form for the club in the past three seasons and has continued to attract interest from several other football outfits.
