Brazil star, Vinicius Jr has ordered his lawyers to attempt to get him out of his deal with Nike, as he feels unfairly treated by the sportswear giant.

The 22-year-old, who signed a £7million-a-year with the sportswear manufacturers to make him one of Nike's highest-profile clients, now wants to put an end to their dealings.

According to the Daily Mail, Vinicius Jr is reportedly angry that the sportswear company gave him old boots last season.

The Brazilian forward believes Nike should give him more attention as one of their biggest stars, as he played in an older model of the Mercurial brand boots during Real Madrid's march to the Champions League triumph last season.

Vinicius Jr is currently still covered by his contract and is sporting Nike boots while competing in the World Cup. On Monday night, he scored the first goal in his team's 4-1 victory over South Korea.

Meanwhile, Vinicius Jr dedicated Brazil's 4-1 thrashing of South Korea to Pele, who watched on from the hospital as the Selecao made the World Cup quarter-finals, Goal reports.

The 22-year-old Real Madrid forward voiced his intention after the game, to win the World Cup for the 82-year-old Brazilian great.

The Selecao have qualified for the quarter-finals of the World Cup and will next play against 2018 finalists Croatia, who defeated Japan via penalties in the round of 16.
