England legend and BBC presenter Gary Lineker left a section of fans angry for comments he made regarding the England-Senegal round of 16 World Cup clash.
Senegal is only one of two African nations to progress to the last 16 of the competition, but will face a difficult challenge to advance to the quarter-finals as they have to beat last World Cup’s semi-finalists.

"Kyle Walker should not be in England's team to play Senegal, and I'll tell you exactly why.” He started as quoted on SportBible.
"We cannot afford - England cannot afford for Walker to get injured, because he's probably just about the only full-back on the planet that can deal with Kylian Mbappe, and that is the French team.
"How would you take the risk, why would you take the risk of him getting injured?"
These comments, despite being analytical from a football perspective, did not sit well with some fans, who felt like Lineker was disregarding Senegal.
Here are some of the comments from disgruntled fans:
"This is why everyone hates us. Senegal are not going to roll over, it’s not a straightforward knockout tie. It’s very close to call and you’re already talking about France? Arrogant in the extreme.

Walker has been struggling with a groin injury at Manchester City, and has not played for his club since October.
