World Cup 2022: Shaqiri Joins Ronaldo and Messi on Elite Goal Scoring List
Xherdan Shaqiri is undoubtedly a Swiss legend and continues to prove that on the world stage.
The 31-year-old scored Switzerland's opener in their game against Serbia to set new personal and national milestones.
Shaqiri is now one of three players who scored in the last three World Cups. The other two are Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentina's Lionel Messi.
Shaqiri has also become the first Swiss player to score in three consecutive World Cups and the second-highest Swiss scorer in the tournament.

The Chicago Fire attacker has scored five goals in total in the tournament, one behind Josef Hügi, who has scored six goals.
He has now also scored 27 goals for the Swiss.
