Ronaldo: what happened with Higuain?
Ronaldo, then at Real Madrid, was in action against Osasuna when Higuain was put through on goal by Mesut Ozil.
Higuain rounded off the keeper and just when he was about to pull the trigger, CR7 surprisingly tried to challenge him for the ball.
With an empty net gaping in front of him, Higuain fumbled and fell down from his teammate's challenge, with the ball gliding out of play. Even more astounding was that Ronaldo didn't seem apologetic to his teammate.
To make matters worse, replays of the incident show the five-time Ballon d'Or winner was offside anyway.
Fans have never been able to grasp the meaning of why he attempted to take the opportunity from his striker partner. Luckily, Real Madrid won 5-1.
