  • Victor Osimhen remains on the radar of several clubs as the Nigerian is in fine form for Napoli
  • Agent Andrea D’Amico has suggested that the 23-year-old could leave if the club wins the league this season
  • Amid interest from quite a number of top clubs in Europe, Napoli have insisted on a €120-million price tag

Quite a number of clubs continue to trail Victor Osimhen, including English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

It was gathered that Spurs are desperate to land a new striker following the uncertain future of Harry Kane, who could leave next year.

Osimhen could be on his way out of Napoli if the Italian club gets the right offers.

The former Lille of France striker has already netted ten goals in all competitions this season, and Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich are also interested.

But Napoli have insisted that the player will go nowhere for any amount less than the €120-million price tag.

Agent D’Amico said via Soccernet:

“The epilogue of the current championship will be fundamental. If Napoli receive good offers, it is not impossible that Victor can leave, especially if Giuntoli has an important alternative ready.
“To date, it is still early to know the future of the Nigerian, but the sporting director is very good at replacing irreplaceable players. See Kim and Kvara, who are making up for the absences of Koulibaly and Insigne in a big way.”

D’Amico believes that the direction of the Serie A title would also contribute, as Napoli have not won the Scudetto in over 20 years.

Man Utd suffer Osimhen blow

Sports Brief earlier reported that Napoli striker Victor Osimhen would not be available during the January transfer window, according to sources close to the Italian club.

The Nigerian international had been on the radar of Manchester United for some time now as the Red Devils continue their search for Cristiano Ronaldo’s replacement.

The former Lille of France striker has been in fine form for the Partenopei this season, scoring 10 goals in his 14 appearances in all competitions so far.
