2022 World Cup hosts Qatar have set an unwanted record at the tournament after a disappointing campaign in the group stages.
Qatar earned automatic qualification for the 2022 edition of the tournament as they were hosting the competition.
The Félix Sánchez-tutored side were pooled in Group A alongside Senegal, the Netherlands, and Ecuador.
However, they were unable to secure a single point in the group, as they lost all their group fixtures.

Qatar kicked off their World Cup campaign with a 2-0 defeat against Ecuador on Sunday, November 20.
They followed up the disappointing result with another humiliation against Senegal, who put three past them.
It was hoped the hosts would push for redemption in their final group fixture against the Netherlands on Tuesday, November 29, but went on to lose 2-0 to finish bottom of Group A with zero points.
According to ESPN, Qatar have become the first World Cup-hosting nation to lose all their group stage fixtures.
The Middle East football powerhouse had initially set the record as the first country hosting the World Cup to suffer defeat in a curtain-raiser.
