Kylian Mbappe could be sanctioned by FIFA despite his terrific start for France at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

According to Football London, Mbappe could now be sanctioned by FIFA after refusing to speak to the media for the second game at the World Cup against Denmark.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward had earlier refused to stop and speak to the media in the mixed zone after France's first group game against Australia.
Mbappe and the French Football Federation (FFF) are now set to be hit with a fine from FIFA following the 23-year-old’s continuous refusal to speak to the press.

The tactician also confirmed his authority over both Mbappe and his team selection while defending the youngster against claims that he has an ego problem.
"His fitness is fine so we don't need to manage that, so you are saying we have to manage his ego?,” Deschamps told the media.
“What do you know about that? I know but you don't. Kylian doesn't have a big ego, that's not true. He's a key player but he's a team player. Of course, he's a star but he's not 18-years-old anymore, he's more experienced.”
